On Sept. 21st-22nd, 2016, the 3rd China Chapter International Seminar & Workshop on Coiled Tubing hosted by ICoTA China and organized by Jason Energy Technologies Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Chengdu, China.
As an international CT organization, ICoTA is committed to the experience exchanges and technology sharing within the CT industry. Previously, two seminars had been successfully held in China. This seminar followed the fine tradition of interaction and intercommunication of the association. Mr. Li Gensheng, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and more than 10 well-known CT experts from the United States, Canada, the Middle East and China gave wonderful live speeches.
Nearly 40 enterprises and institutions such as China University of Petroleum, Chongqing University of Science & Technology, CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, NOV, Tenaris, Jereh Group and Kerui Group attended the seminar.
The seminar lasted for two days with 12 professional academic sharing sessions. It focused on the development trend and technical innovation of the CT industry, covering topics such as CT drilling, workover, logging, fracturing, milling, simulation software applications and API5c8 industry standards.
