As a self-contained multi-use machine, coiled tubing unit becomes glaringly popular again for oil field exploration and development.As a result, how to improve the operating technology of coiled tubing operation, as well as to reduce the cost and risk of it, turns to be the responsibility of the coiled tubing industry. It brings a demanding need of gathering global talents from coiled tubing industry, to communicate the cutting-edge technology, and solve the bottlenecks during operation.
On Sept. 5th-6th, 2018, the 5th International Coiled Tubing Seminar will be held by the Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA) China Chapter in Wuhan China, and co-organized by JASON & Jianghan (OSJH).
The Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA) is a not-for-profit, member-funded organization with the primary objective of improving communication and promotion of technical awareness within the well intervention industry.
On May, 2015, ICoTA China Chapter was founded in China Yantai, and had hold four annual workshops sponsored by Jason which is a global leading manufacturer of Coiled Tubing products.
Over 20 companies and scientific research and academic institutions have so far registered to join the workshop, including China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec Group, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Jereh Group, JASON Energy, Tenaris, National Oilwell Varco, Panjin Honghai, Packer Service, AnTech Coil Tubing, Element Technical Services, ATHENA, STEP ENERGY, Anton Group, BICO Drilling Tools, Karamay Siwei Petro Technologies, Tulsa University, Oilfield Equipment Marketing, Yangtze University, Chongqing University of Science & Technology, etc.
Mr. Lei Gao, chairman of ICoTA China Chapter and president of JASON O&G Equipment, LLC, delivered the opening speech on behalf of the ICoTA headquarter. He expressed his desire to gather the efforts of the experts from across the world to yield extensive benefits through the platform of ICoTA and called on the colleagues in the industry to jointly press ahead with the global development of the coiled tubing technologies.
